One Body, Spirit, Faith and Truth: Take a Stand – Actions
2
– In small groups, individually or at church-level, invest time and research
into analyzing liberal theology.
Develop a position paper for your group, church or denomination on the
credibility and the implications of homosexism. Clearly articulate the irrationality
of the liberal premise that Christ is indifferent, if not divided, on the issue
of homosexuality. Establish the fact
that there can be no compromise stance on homosexuality. The orthodox must stand up for the authentic
revelation now and here in our homes, churches, denominations and in
public. Make this statement/position
paper available for church membership and visitors to read.

– Approach the neighborhood or your children’s school and become aware of what
the counseling process is for boys and girls seeking guidance on sexual
orientation matters. Specifically,
clarify the school policy for counseling “waverers.” Become familiar with the curriculum for homosexual affirming
programs and collect, for review, all reference materials related to the
instruction. Lobby the school board to
protect the Christian worldview (and that of other orthodox world religions), either
by getting the school system to give voice to the orthodox viewpoint or by
getting the school board to require parental approval to attend classes and
sessions addressing homosexuality. 4 – Teach your children to be aware of the irrationality and heterodoxy of religious liberalism.
