Homosexist Worldview: Take a Stand – Actions

 1 – This section on homosexism is just an introduction to the subject.  Invest time and research into understanding the full implications of the Canadian state adopting a homosexist worldview.  Because advocates of same-sex marriage fought for their goals under the banner of “individual” human rights, little meaningful debate occurred on the collective impact of adopting homosexism.  There are huge implications for society and orthodox religion in short and long-terms.
 

2 – In a small study group or at church-level develop a position paper on the implications of homosexism for your group, church and denomination.  Make this statement/position paper available for membership and visitors to read. [There are really only two options: (1) liberalize and embrace homosexism; or (2) work exceptionally hard to resist the current social trend.  Neutrality, is not a Christian response.  Under current circumstances neutrality only serves the liberal-minded.]
 

3 – Form a committee or study group to investigate what is being taught in the neighborhood schools.  Where appropriate petition the school board to restrict indoctrination towards acceptance of homosexism.  Note: Resistance  to homosexism is not  racism, certainly not unchristian.  "Every voice in the debate speaks from some sort of value system.  There can be no 'neutral' answers to most social issues.  The problem is, while claiming only to discourage scapegoating, gay-affirming programs do much more.  In reality, they promote a particular worldview; complete with truth claims those students are expected to adopt.  These programs promote the value systems of a particular social group and denigrate the views of another, while at the same time, distorting science."[i]
