Religious Liberalism: Take a Stand – Actions

– Invest the time and research to understand the motivations behind religious liberalism and what the consequences of liberalism have been to the Christian witness and Christian influence in Canada.  Understand the truth about Darwinism and the many so-called “scientific” theories and discoveries in the nineteenth century that were wrongly asserted as evidences against the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Develop an understanding of how science is now pointing to divine creation and design.

- In a small study group or at church-level develop a position paper on the historical liberal movement within Christendom up to the 1960s.  Describe the short and long-term consequences of the movement up to that date. Make this statement/position paper available for membership and visitors to read.

- In a small study group or at church-level develop a position paper addressing on contemporary manifestations of religious liberalism.  Explain the characteristics of liberalism and how to detect liberalism.  Establish a policy for responding to so-called “liberal Christians.”  Make this statement/position paper available for membership and visitors to read.

– Form a committee to study what other churches and denominations are teaching.  If in fellowship with churches or denominations that articulate unorthodox liberal theology, take a stand by doing one or all of the following: (1) witness vigorously against the heresy; and/or (2) separate from these self-proclaimed “Christians” who proselytize false theology.  View so-called “liberal believers” as individuals (congregations and denominations) who are assaulting the Gospel and trying to re-image Christ, from within.

– Do not stop witnessing the orthodox Christian worldview out of a wish to avoid internal division or external public controversy; do not expect the liberalization forces to stop the assault on the authority of God’s Word; do not assume because the state has now fully adopted a secular humanist worldview that somehow there will be peace.

This website and Pivot of Civilization or Rivet of Life? are offered to equip and encourage Christians to be better disciples of Jesus Christ.  Beyond being informative, these references are intended to be incitements to action.  StandForGod.Org is a general call to take up a more ardent, scripturally accurate, influence-driven stand for God.  The Organization is a means by which like-minded Christians can find each other and fellowship.  If your mind is in accord and your heart is at peace with StandForGod.Org, prayerfully consider membership and posting a www.StandForGod.Org bumper sticker on your car or elsewhere.
